You can select our agency with confidence. Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Yakima Valley and its community-based offices are here to provide an array of services to help consumers in debt or financial distress -- or in need of information to make a wise financial decision. Our non-profit community service addresses those issues.
The Right Choice.
When you are in debt, you may feel isolated and alone. It's not unusual. It is actually the most common feeling because you are not sure of the correct actions to take -- or where to turn. You want advice -- but you want advice that bears on your individual problems and situation.
Knowing the Difference Can Make All the Difference.
Unlike some "credit counseling" agencies who deal with partial debt, our programs address financial problems like collections, pay day loans, and other financial repayment including IRS, court judgments, and personal loans. We understand you may have gotten into financial difficulty because of circumstances that are outside of your control... our professional counselors will talk with you and help you resolve what are the best options to solve your financial problems, including a debt repayment plan if you determine that is in your best interests. At Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Yakima Valley, we have been in the non-profit business since 1971 -- you'll find experience here, someone that will listen, and also programs that make a difference.
The CCCS/NFCC Difference.
The Consumer Credit Counseling Service family is the oldest and largest of the non-profit debt/credit counseling services -- and is recognized for the integrity of its actions. We belong to the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC). Together, we have earned the trust of the creditors who work with our agency to provide assistance through CCCS of Yakima Valley to those seeking debt-repayment and positive solutions to get their life back on track. Our collective strength is through the communities that we each serve: CCCS of Yakima Valley serves the Central Washington region.
We provide:
- Independently Certified Counselors
- A personalized program tailored to meet your needs -- not just a 15 minute set up that sounds good ... but does not address realistically your means to sustain the program -- and reach your goal of debt repayment. If you have financial hardship requiring assistance, a debt management plan where creditors and others participate providing concessions that recognize a limited means to repay.
- Free, confidential debt/budget counseling as the main non-profit service, not a debt-repayment plan as the sole option.
- Debt-repayment plans that allow you to use your own resources, not take another loan to increase debt -- and cause further problems. Creditor concessions based on financial hardship are based on regaining fiscal health, not getting deeper in debt -- and out of control.
