Help Now Available for Foreclosure Prevention! - 2008-03-08
We recently received a grant from the National Foreclosure Mitigation Counseling Program to provide counseling services to individuals and families facing the threat of foreclosure. This money will be used to provide help to residents in the 8-county area served by CCCSYV. This includes Yakima, Ellensburg, Sunnyside, Toppenish, Wapato, Moses Lake area, Wenatchee area and other communities. We are delighted to be able to increase our housing counseling capability. In many cases, our counselors can work directly with lenders to work out an affordable plan to keep borrowers in their homes.
